• Responsible for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in high loader trucks and vehicles.
  
• Performing routine maintenance and repairing or replacing faulty parts and components.
  
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
  
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
  
• Perform layout work for fabrication of parts and equipment.
  
• Report all faults and findings and keep records of log sheet and job cards
  
• Maintain equipment and tools in a good condition
  
• Troubleshoot reported problem and resolve them in timely manner
  
• Clean and applying lubrication to machinery components
  
• Welding and fabrication of components
  
• Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisor and or Line Manager.
  

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive or Technical education in Mechanics.
  
• 10 years’ experience of hydraulic high loader/heavy duty trucks maintenance and repair.
  
• Knowledge of machines and tools.
  
• Complex problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Computer knowledge.
  
• Flexible to learn, adapting and working on virous machinery and equipment.
