Our client from a logistics company is looking for a client relation manager whose role is managing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and supporting efficient logistics operations. The role requires strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills to effectively engage with customers, internal teams, and external logistics partners. The Customer Relations Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns, and ensuring smooth logistics processes from order placement to final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with KAGO clients by understanding their specific logistics requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and accurate shipment updates and addressing concerns.
- Regularly communicate with clients to anticipate logistics needs, cargo availability, and provide proactive solutions.
- Receive and process client orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of client requests.
- Collaborate with transporters, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to arrange shipments and document delivery.
- Actively push cargo acquisition from clients on a daily basis.
- Proactively identify and resolve logistics-related challenges during transportation.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with the operations team to investigate and resolve delivery or cargo quality issues.
- Provide accurate daily status and performance reports to clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including pricing agreements, contracts, and communication history in the system.
- Prepare and submit required documentation such as shipping invoices and customs declarations in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure proper filing and organization of all client-related documentation.
- Ensure all required client documents are complete before cargo loading and offloading.
- Collect client feedback on logistics services and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery and competitiveness.
- Recruit and generate new client leads while maintaining and updating the existing client database.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the employment period.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Management.
