Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a technically skilled and results-driven Sales Engineer to promote and sell DENAIR industrial air and gas solutions across Tanzania’s Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and other industrial sectors. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, conducting technical assessments, preparing proposals and tenders, and supporting after-sales service activities. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen to drive revenue growth and build long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, and related industries.
- Promote and sell DENAIR products including compressors, gas generators, dryers, and accessories.
- Conduct site visits to assess compressed air and gas system requirements.
- Perform air demand calculations (CFM, m³/min, pressure, purity levels).
- Prepare technical proposals, commercial quotations, and tender submissions.
- Interpret BOQs, P&ID diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Negotiate contracts and follow up on submitted quotations.
- Coordinate with manufacturers for pricing, lead times, and technical clarifications.
- Support installation, commissioning, and after-sales service activities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets.
