Job Summary.
Our Client, an Insurance Company is looking for a Qualified Bancassurance Relationship Manager to manage Sales of General Insurance product to Bank customers at Bank branches across assigned locations, prospect and meet customers within and outside the Bank Branch. The role holder will be responsible for
managing and growing relationships with Banks in order to grow business, through the development of strong
relationships and partnerships.
Responsibilities;
- Build relationship with the Bank sales/operations team and ensure the business targets.
- Productivity potential targets of the allocated branches are met.
- Assist bank in acquiring banking customers through insurance product sale.
- Working jointly with the Branch Manager / RM on Business Implementation plan.
- Driving and motivating the branch staff along with Bank RM and providing all possible support for conversion of the lead
into insurance sales.
- Tapping the right database of the branch and ensure authentic documentation.
- To achieve branch RM activation targets.
- Work collectively with Bank Sales / operations team and conduct joint sales calls as a team to achieve business numbers.
- Analyzing the insurance quotations and policy wordings from underwriter to fit the client's requirements.
- Ensure all the claims from the banks/ clients are timely handled and settled.
- Maintain close relationships with stakeholders in the banks / clients and other departments within the bank.
- Conducting product presentations and training to the corporate clients
Requirements
- Underwriting and sales experience in insurance products.
- Should have minimum of 2 years.
- A comprehensive knowledge on selling insurance products.
- Bancassurance Insurance Business market experience would be a distinct advantage/preferable).
- High degree of integrity.
- Banca General Insurance Relationship Management, Bancassurance Sales Insurance.
- Excellent communication skills, including consensus building, negotiating ability and presentation skills.
- Expertise with various computer applications and software i.e. Microsoft Office
Desired Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance business, risk management, business administration or relative
degree.
- Any professional certification course or training in insurance business and/or sales is an added advantage.
- Excellent underwriter cum sales acumen.
- Strong communication skills.
- Judgment, problem-solving and Supervisory skills.
