Our client, a leading investment management firm with interests in building construction, is seeking an experienced Document Controller with expertise in managing project documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in reviewing, organizing, and ensuring accuracy of technical documents, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a keen attention to detail.
Copy, scan, and store documents efficiently, ensuring all records are properly archived. Check for accuracy and edit documents, including contracts, technical manuals, and workflows. Review and update technical documents to ensure compliance and clarity. Distribute project-related documentation to internal teams, ensuring timely access. Maintain both physical and digital filing systems to ensure easy retrieval. Create and maintain templates for consistent use across projects. Retrieve files as requested by employees, clients, or stakeholders. Manage the flow of documentation within the organization to maintain efficiency. Ensure confidentiality and security around sensitive information and terms of agreement. Prepare ad-hoc reports on project documentation as required.
Proven work experience as a Document Controller or in a similar administrative role. 5-8 years of relevant experience in managing project documentation. Familiarity with project management processes and documentation. Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel for document management and reporting. Experience in building construction or related industries. Strong typing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on accuracy. Excellent data organization and file management abilities. High attention to detail, ensuring proper document accuracy and traceability. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.
