Job Description
Our Client, a leading company in the Automotive industry, is looking for a Parts Logistics Supervisor to help them Achieve Parts sales growth plans and business objectives through the timely and accurate placement of stock orders, effective management of the Parts supply chain and optimal stock holding ensuring parts availability at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, develop, and promote effective networks with both customers and suppliers on parts-related issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate orders are placed and dispatched in line with supplier standards.
- Coordinate and submit SMR reports with TTAF, and process returns for credit to the SMR account.
- Verify parts costings and submit to the Parts Manager for approval and onward processing.
- Manage stock and VOR (Vehicle Off Road) parts ordering to ensure availability.
- Ensure damaged parts in transit are invoiced to the insurance claims account.
- Support and participate in stock-taking activities.
- Prepare and submit monthly departmental reports and reviews.
- Ensure job process flows and procedures comply with TMC guidelines.
- Manage lost sales related to parts out of stock.
- Oversee workshop WIP parts supply and synchronisation with workshop operations.
- Source parts from local suppliers and ensure timely delivery of quality parts to TUGA offices.
- Report monthly on parts cost, sales, and service rate capture.
- Collect daily inputs and compile monthly parts reports.
- Follow up on ordered parts until delivery is completed.
- Monitor lead times across processes to ensure smooth operations and maximum efficiency.
- Analyze marine covers processed by the outbound logistics team to verify premium accuracy before inbound registration.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations to safeguard the organization from penalties.
- Monitor work in progress and update customer orders awaiting parts and vehicle releases.
- Receive parts and ensure timely release into stock.
- Coordinate stock consignment documentation for clearing agents to ensure timely goods clearance.
- Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Procurement or a related business discipline.
Two years Experience in Supply chain management
Product & Automotive Industry Knowledge is an added advantage
Advanced Computer skills
