Job Summary.

Our Client, a Mining Company is looking for a qualified Logistics Manager who will be responsible for fleet management and coordination, management of Drivers, distribution and logistics.

Responsibilities;

• To maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  
• To manage distribution of loads from pit, processing area, sales point to the customers.
  
• To schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  
• To manage the drivers and Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
  
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  

Requirements

• Should have Bachelor Degree in Transport and Logistics Management or any related fields.
  
• ​Prior experience in managing logistics, fleet or transportation will be an added advantage.
  
• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
  
• Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
  
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
