• Conduct geological surveys and exploration activities to identify gold deposits.
  
• Oversee and manage blasting activities in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  
• Monitor and report on the progress of gold exploration projects, ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
  
• Manage both open-pit and underground mining operations, ensuring safe and efficient processes.
  
• Work closely with mining teams to implement best practices in excavation, drilling, and ore extraction.
  
• Maintain accurate geological records and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
  
• Provide guidance and training to junior geologists and other field staff.
  
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental compliance in all mining operations.
  
• Travel frequently to remote mining sites for exploration and operational management.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in gold exploration, particularly within Tanzania.
  
• Proficient knowledge of mining operations, including blasting, open-pit, and underground mining techniques.
  
• Strong understanding of geological software and tools used in exploration and mining operations.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote field locations.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Willingness to travel to and work in remote locations for extended periods.
