Our client, a leading institution in the international education sector, is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Pre-School Teacher to guide early learners through foundational academic and social-emotional development. The role focuses on delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young children.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that promote cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development.
Use play-based and hands-on activities to support early literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and communication.
Observe and assess each child’s progress, documenting milestones and identifying areas needing support or enrichment.
Maintain a warm, caring classroom environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and independence.
Promote routines such as hygiene, feeding etiquette, dressing skills, and positive behavior reinforcement.
Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, school events, and cross-classroom activities.
Supervise children during meals, playtime, rest periods, transitions, and school assemblies.
Set up learning centers, prepare teaching materials, and maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom.
Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Cambridge curriculum experience is a strong advantage.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching children aged 3–4 in a structured early learning environment.
Deep understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
Warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
Strong classroom management and child supervision skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a parent-friendly and team-oriented mindset.
Ability to prepare creative, interactive lessons and maintain high safety and hygiene standards.
